Free Family Yoga Taster Session

Friday 29th November 2019

6.00pm – 7.00pm at the Active Rutland Hub, Oakham Enterprise Park

This Friday we are running a free Family Yoga taster session as part of our new Active Families programme. The programme aims to offer families a variety of physical activities that they can all participate in together.

Yoga can offer benefits to every member of the family, including;

  • Helping develop the right balance of muscle tone and strength throughout the body to support.
  • Helping to maintain flexibility and mobility in all joints and muscles.
  • Helping to reduce stress, anxiety, depression
  • Helping to develop emotional health and mindfulness

If the session proves popular we will then look to develop a regular Family Yoga group or signpost families into existing sessions to allow them to continue to participate.

Future Active Families sessions will include:

December Family Forest Challenge at Fineshade Woods

January Family Energise Fitness Class Taster Sessions at the Rutland Hub (Oakham Enterprise Park)

February Family Swimming Sessions

March Family Triathlon Challenge

April Family Gardening Sessions at Catmose Farm Park

May Family Walking Sessions

June Family Tennis Sessions at the Active Rutland Hub (Oakham Enterprise Park)

July Family Cycling Sessions

August Family Couch to 5KM challenge

If your family would like to attend the Yoga session or if you are interested in any of our future activities listed please contact me directly.

Many thanks,
