Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport, our county sports partnership have extensive information and links to various coach education workshops. Coach Development Days are to support local coaches with their development, improve skills and knowledge and to provide an opportunity to network with coaches from different sports.

Leicestershire and Rutland Workforce Education Programme
Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) has launched its new Workforce Education Programme, which provides a wide range of courses to develop a high performing sporting workforce of Coaches, Volunteers and those involved in local Clubs.
Running between September 2013 and July 2014, the programme aims to support today's coaches and help develop our local clubs to encourage, inspire and support participants and create sporting opportunities. Whether you are a seasoned coach looking to further your skills, or are new to coaching, take your passion for coaching further and attend an LRS course.
The brochure and online booking system provides details and information of the workshops available across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland.
As part of this year's programme we will be running Clubmark standard workshops such as 'Safeguarding and Protecting Children' and 'Safeguarding and Protecting Children 2: Reflecting on Practice' and 'Equity in your Coaching'. There is also 'First Steps into Coaching', 'Developing a Marketing Strategy' and 'How to Coach Disabled People in Sport' courses available.
